Mr Ivan Tomasi qualified in 2000 from Medical School and completed his surgical training with hons at the School of General Surgery at Verona University (Italy) in 2006.
After two years as Colorectal Senior Clinical Fellow at Barts, Mr Ivan Tomasi worked as Locum Consultant in Emergency surgery with Colo-rectal subspecialty at Rotherham and Watford.
In 2015 Mr Tomasi was appointed as Consultant in Emergency General Surgery at Guys and St Thomas Hospital London. He has been part of a research group on new oncological markers in collaboration with University of Southern California and Cider Sinai Hospital Los Angeles (USA).
He has published scientific articles and has made many presentations at national and international meetings on oncological markers and treatment of haemorrhoids. Mr. Tomasi has also been rewarded as Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at KCL.
His elective practice is based on abdominal-inguinal hernia repair, proctology (haemorrhoids, anal fissure, fistula-in ano, pilonidal sinus), AWR, lap cholecystectomy, lumps and bumps.
