Professor Gudrun Kunst, MD, PhD (habil.), EDAIC, FRCA, FFICM
Gudrun Kunst has been Consultant Anaesthetist at King’s College Hospital in London since 2004.
Gudrun trained at Heidelberg University Hospital (Germany) and at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London and her clinical interests include perioperative medicine, cardiovascular anaesthesia and anaesthesia for day surgery procedures.
Gudrun has been an examiner for the Primary Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and she is the Pan-London Anaesthetic Academic Training Programme Director.
Gudrun was awarded the prestigious RCoA Macintosh Professorship in 2019. Nationally, Gudrun is a board member of the Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists and Critical Care (ACTACC) and the Grant Officer of the RCoA National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia. Internationally, Gudrun is a Board Member of the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (EBCP).
